B season again.

My movie for this year - Kaizad Gustad's 'Bombil and Beatrice'
He did 'Bombay Boys' (one of my fav films) and 'Boom'

KG confirmed AR Rahman's doing the music for this one.
Starring that hottie Prashant Narayanan from Waisa Bhi Hota Hai Part II.

The story:
One hundred years ago, a beautiful young English woman named Beatrice promised a young Indian man named Vilas that she would wait for him. For a hundred years, if need be. At the height of the British Raj, these star crossed-lovers shared a love that defied both their worlds. On the night of New Year's Eve, Beatrice escapes from her family and elopes to her lover. But tragedy strikes instead.........One hundred years later, in the urban slums of today's Mumbai, Beatrice tracks down the reincarnation of her lover from a century ago. Vilas is now Bombil, the hitman, and she has a job for him. At the appointed hour, at the appointed time, one hundred years after destiny struck, what will he do? Can he redeem himself in this lifetime for promises made in the last? Can he kill the very thing he loved? Bombil and Beatrice. Love Doesn't Die.

trailer looked interesting. first half looks like mystery movie. but suddenly i lost the thread somewhere. hope ill find it in the movie. looking forward to see the movie. storyline sounds like a remake of a several telugu and tamil movies.

cant play the trailor for some reason. epic love stories in india have a history of morphing into super cheese though. but will reserve judgement for now

I like the storyline and think this will be one of kaizad's better movies... The background music in the trailer is from one of Rahman's earlier compositions...

hey, can't listen to the score, cos u know where i open things up! :(
but yes, like i said, i like to see the movie when it's out. I like this genre of movies- re-incarnation and stuff. throw in some magic and its fantastic and cheesy!
btw, did u know the bachchan family, including amar singh turned out for the premier of namesake?! tabu's always struck me as one with potential, i'm hoping this movie'l be good as well.
there, ur mail box is now overflowing thanks to me FOXXY LADY!

:)

cheers!
